Courses and Internships

Our objective is to share our experience of the production and cultural richness of Mapuche textiles, in order to preserve the ancestral techniques of the indigenous peoples of the Araucania.

Our courses and internships are designed for 1 to 10 people. Their duration may vary according to the availability and needs of the participants. In general, the price will depend on the focus and length of the training program, as well as the number of participants. The following elements may be included:

  • Module D: Techniques for Urdido and Loom Textiles I: Smooth Textiles and Single Ñimen
  • Module E: Techniques for Urdido and Loom Textile II: Double Ñimen
  
  
• Cultural Immersion Component: Fieldtrips to meet the craftswomen of the Fundación Chol Chol
